Pupil Premium

At Deanery Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background or financial circumstances. The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the government to support children who may face barriers to learning, including those eligible for free school meals, children in care, and those from service families.

We use this funding to:

  • Provide targeted academic support and interventions
  • Enhance access to enrichment opportunities
  • Support emotional wellbeing and pastoral care
  • Improve attendance and engagement

Our aim is to close the attainment gap and ensure all pupils reach their full potential. We carefully monitor the impact of our strategies and regularly review our approach to ensure the best outcomes for our children.

To find out more about how we use the Pupil Premium and the difference it makes, please see our Pupil Premium Strategy Statement below.

If you think your child may be eligible for Pupil Premium funding, or if you have any questions, please contact the school office or speak to a member of the leadership team.
