At Deanery we believe education is more than lessons, it’s about nurturing the whole child. Our aim is to engage, inspire and enthuse our children giving them opportunities to 'Live Life in All Its Fullness' John 10:10. Enrichment is a time when children select an activity that they would like to explore over a few weeks. These experiences go beyond the curriculum, creating opportunities for every learner to grow in wisdom, confidence, curiosity, creativity and character.

Staff prioritise oracy opportunities, enabling children to express themselves clearly and listen thoughtfully to other children and staff beyond their own class. They are introduced to vocabulary which empowers them to communicate with precision and confidence. Strong links to the community and going beyond the classroom ensure learning feels relevant and connected, fostering a sense of belonging and responsibility. We encourage children to explore meaning, purpose, and values, helping them grow as thoughtful, compassionate individuals. Together, these experiences create a rich tapestry of learning where every child can thrive.
